Can I get a quote over the phone?
Yes, although for  Paint Correction a vehicle assessment is required  to give an accurate quotation.
How long does the service take?
Enhancement Detail should expect to take between 6-8 hours to complete.

Paint Correction will vary depending on condition of existing paint and is best estimated during a vehicle assessment.

Ceramic Coating  should expect to take between 5-7 hours to complete.

Is there anything I need to supply?
Yes, access to an external garden tap and a power outlet both within 20mtrs of where vehicle is to be detailed.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa, and Cash.
Is the payment secure?
We use a secure payment gateway which means credit card details are NEVER visible to Waxwerx.
Can I leave the car with the you while I do other things?
Sure, your time is valuable so having your vehicle detailed during your absence is fine.
Are you insured?
Yes, Waxwerx has full insurance including comprehensive public liability coverage of $10,000,000. (Police background checks available upon request).
What should I do if I need to cancel my appointment?
For any reason you wish to cancel, please give a minimum of 24hrs notice by contacting bookings@waxwerx.com.au.
What happens if it rains on the day of the appointment?
Locations where no undercover area is provided, the option to either reschedule or cancel the appointment is available to you. In some cases a waterproof marquee may be assembled and is better discussed by calling Waxwerx immediately if it is likely to rain.
Can scratches or swirls marks be removed?
In most cases yes, however this will be determined during a vehicle assessment and at which time available options will be discussed with you. If you need more information, feel free to reach out at support@waxwerx.com.au
What is clay bar treatment?
Clay Bar is a resin that when lubricated is used to carefully glide along the surface of paint, glass and metal to safely remove stubborn contaminants such as tree sap, rail and brake dust etc. Contaminants when left untreated can penetrate the clear coat causing damage to the paint, while iron brake dust can also oxidize and become a permanent fixture of your wheels.
What is ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating acts as a barrier in protecting a vehicle’s clear coat and paintwork, in addition to protection, the coatings we use include ultra hydrophobic properties designed to repel water from the surface of the paintwork. If you need more information, feel free to reach out at

Can I have a ceramic coating done outdoors?
No, this services requires the use of a garage or warehouse etc.
How do I know if paint correction is safe?
Each vehicle type has its own inherent characteristics from factory, this along with the vehicle’s age and condition will determine the most suitable method for correcting paint, therefore a vehicle assessment is required in order to accurately determine if the vehicle is suitable for correction.
Can I bring my car to you?
No, Waxwerx operates only as a mobile business.
Are there restrictions on the use of water in my area?
Water restrictions in the State of Victoria were lifted on December 1, 2012. Waxwerx only use pressure water systems that conserve water by having a trigger system and which do not leak.
Why can’t I book a commercial vehicle?
We’re working on adding extra resources however we’re unable to guarantee that commercial vehicles will be completed within advertised time estimates, therefore this service not available at this time.
What happens if I forget to enter my coupon code?
Unfortunately we’re unable to retroactively apply coupon codes.
Do I get a tax invoice?
Certainly, you will receive an email allowing you to print tax invoice.
Do prices include GST?
Yes, prices include GST.
